Borehole Drilling & SPT
Soil investigation with standard penetration test
To investigate subsurface soil and rock strata through borehole drilling and Standard Penetration Test (SPT) — providing critical input for foundation design, settlement analysis and bearing capacity computation.
What We Do
- •Rotary & percussion drilling rigs
- •Standard Penetration Test (SPT N-value)
- •Borehole logging by qualified geologist
- •Disturbed & undisturbed sampling
- •Ground water table identification
- •Permeability tests (in-situ)
- •Rock coring & RQD measurement
- •Variable depths: 6m to 60m
Methodology
Site reconnaissance → borehole layout per project → drilling using rotary/percussion rigs → SPT at 1.5m intervals → soil sampling (SPT spoon & UDS) → ground water observation → rock coring (if encountered) → field log preparation per IS 1892.
Deliverables & Outcomes
We deliver comprehensive reports and data that guide your project planning and decision-making.
- •Geotechnical Investigation Report
- •Bore log with stratigraphy
- •SPT N-value variation chart
- •Soil classification (IS 1498)
- •Ground water profile
- •Recommended foundation design
