Pavement Condition Survey
PCI, roughness, deflection & distress mapping
To evaluate the structural and functional condition of existing road pavements — identifying distress, measuring roughness and predicting remaining service life for rehabilitation planning.
What We Do
- •Pavement Condition Index (PCI) survey
- •Roughness measurement (IRI by Bump Integrator)
- •Rutting depth survey (manual / laser)
- •Deflection survey (Benkelman Beam / FWD)
- •Cracking pattern & severity mapping
- •Skid resistance & texture depth
- •Pavement core extraction & thickness
- •Traffic load analysis (ESAL)
Methodology
Visual distress survey per IRC SP:81 → instrument-based roughness & deflection → pavement coring → laboratory testing → analysis as per IRC:81-1997 (rehabilitation) → recommendation for overlay, recycling or reconstruction.
