Pavement Condition Survey

PCI, roughness, deflection & distress mapping

To evaluate the structural and functional condition of existing road pavements — identifying distress, measuring roughness and predicting remaining service life for rehabilitation planning.

What We Do

  • Pavement Condition Index (PCI) survey
  • Roughness measurement (IRI by Bump Integrator)
  • Rutting depth survey (manual / laser)
  • Deflection survey (Benkelman Beam / FWD)
  • Cracking pattern & severity mapping
  • Skid resistance & texture depth
  • Pavement core extraction & thickness
  • Traffic load analysis (ESAL)

Methodology

Visual distress survey per IRC SP:81 → instrument-based roughness & deflection → pavement coring → laboratory testing → analysis as per IRC:81-1997 (rehabilitation) → recommendation for overlay, recycling or reconstruction.

Deliverables & Outcomes

We deliver comprehensive reports and data that guide your project planning and decision-making.

  • Pavement Condition Survey Report
  • IRI / PCI score with km-wise data
  • Distress map with severity ratings
  • Deflection & structural capacity analysis
  • Rehabilitation strategy & cost estimate
  • Maintenance management plan
