CAPO & Pull-Out Tests
In-situ concrete strength & anchor capacity
CAPO Test measures in-situ compressive strength of concrete on existing structures with minimal damage. Pull-Out Test verifies anchor bolt and post-installed rebar capacity for retrofitting work.
What We Do
- •CAPO test on existing structures
- •In-situ concrete strength verification
- •Anchor bolt pull-out (epoxy, mechanical)
- •Post-installed rebar pull-out
- •Chemical anchor capacity verification
- •Embed plate weld pull-off
- •Façade fixing pull-off test
- •As per ASTM E488 & ACI 355
Methodology
CAPO: Drill 18mm hole → insert expansion ring → cut groove → apply pull-out force → measure peak force → correlate with cube strength. Anchor Pull-out: Calibrated hydraulic ram → applied to anchor → load-displacement recorded → ultimate failure load determined.
